  • Therapy is a space to notice—what’s been sitting heavy, what’s gone unspoken, what’s waiting to be seen. It’s not about being “broken” or needing “fixing.” It’s about remembering who you are underneath the noise. At Smarā, therapy is collaborative, creative, and rooted in science, story, and safety.

  • I offer integrative therapy, which means I draw from different approaches depending on what you need. My work is informed by attachment theory, person-centered care, and interpersonal neurobiology—all of which support emotional regulation, nervous system healing, and re-authoring your story. I also use art-based and play approaches when helpful, especially with younger clients.

  • You can click the "Book a Session" button anywhere on the website to schedule your first call. I use a secure system, and you’ll receive a confirmation with next steps. If you have questions before booking, feel free to fill out the inquiry form on the homepage.

  • Most clients start with weekly sessions or biweekly to build rhythm and consistency—essential ingredients for healing. However, we can adjust based on your needs, availability, and budget. I also offer packages that make regular sessions more affordable.

  • Yes, absolutely. Our first session is about exploring whether this space feels right for you. There’s no pressure to continue if it doesn’t feel like a good fit. I also offer a 15-minute discovery call, free of charge.

  • I am trained to work with people of all ages- my youngest client has been 4 years old, and oldest has been 30. However, I am keen to work with young people aged 16 and above, students, creatives, and anyone navigating identity, transitions, relationships, or emotional overwhelm. I also support trainee counsellors and early-career psychologists, as well as individuals exploring their sense of self across cultures.

  • I offer student discounts, sliding scale sessions, and a limited number of pro bono slots. I believe therapy should be accessible, so if you need support, please send an inquiry—we’ll find something that works if we can.

  • Yes! I work with clients based in India and the UK, offering remote sessions via a secure video platform. All you need is a quiet space and an internet connection. I also work in an in-person setting in East London for a select few clients. I am open to working with clients from other countries as well, especially Indian students studying internationally.

  • You talk—or draw, play, sit in silence, journal, or reflect out loud. It’s shaped around you. We might explore stories from your life, notice patterns, or just slow down and check in with how your body and mind are doing that day. You get to lead the pace.

  • Not at all. We go at your pace. Therapy isn’t a race to disclose—it’s a process of building trust. Some days, you may feel like opening up. Other days, we may sit with the silence or make sense of just one small thing. All of it is welcome.

  • Great! I often use art-based, play-based, and body-aware tools in sessions (yes, online as well!). You don’t need to be “good” at art or games—these are just different ways to express things when words don’t feel like enough.

  • Yes. What you share is private and treated with respect and care. The only exceptions are when there’s a serious risk of harm to you or someone else, which we’ll talk about in your first session so you’re fully informed.

Still wondering if therapy is right for you? Fill out the inquiry form—I’d love to hear from you.
